Château Bélair-Monange

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
1er Grand Cru Classé
The Moueix family has invested heavily in this great estate which adjoins Ausone. This is an impressive wine with firm structure, great depth and a lovely intensity. Quite an intellectual wine, there is spice, graphite, black fruit and liquorice on the attack. This opens up to reveal a fresh core of sweetness, ripe fruit and a spicy, well built finish.
