Château Berliquet

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Classé
1,5
Red
Magnificently located between Ausone and Angélus, Berliquet is one of the oldest St. Emilion vineyards. Since 2008 Nicolas and Cyrille Thienpont have been making the wine here. Notable in the 2016 vintage is the presence of the recently planted Cabernet Franc that makes up 25% of the blend and adds lift and beautiful red fruit character to the wine. The 2016 is a great success with lovely aromatic expression, a silky texture and a distinctive saline finish.
