The 2015 Beychevelle is a wine of great class and finesse; one of the finest made by Philippe Blanc. Made from a blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, this is a lovely classic St.Julien with lots of tannin and structure underpinned by good cassis fruit. Long and persistent in the finish, this will certainly age well and gain in reputation over the next decade or so.
