Château Cheval Blanc

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
1er Grand Cru Classé A
0,75
Red
Having tasted all of the great wines of the right bank we can say that those who had a good proportion of Cabernet Franc, shined in this vintage. The 2021 Cheval Blanc is a blend of 52% Cabernet Franc, 43% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has an intense deep purple red colour with aromas of cherries, wild blueberries, a hint of violet and fine discrete oak. notes. The attack is round and powerful, the structure quite firm and serious and the tannins are well integrated with an abiding freshness. The long, cool growing season was, according to Pierre Olivier Clouet, along with a great deal of hard work during the summer the key to this beautiful, balanced siren of a wine. Max. 12 btls.
