Château de la Maltroye

Another fabulous premier cru white from Maltroye which is a very different wine from his very special Dents de Chien. This wine has more expressive fruit with good flavours of pineapple, apples, lemon confit, oatmeal and oak; it reminded us of a Coche styled Meursault. Precise and rich at the same time, the grapes grow on the bare rock so that it is not surprising that the finish is powerful and mineral. Max. 12 btls.
