One of the Rothschild estates neighbouring Lafite and one of the most dramatically improved of the appellation no doubt due, according to the manager Charles Chevalier, to the fact that they employ two teams of pickers used at Lafite. Very deeply coloured. An intense nose with red and black fruit and delicate spice notes. The start is fresh, full-bodied and plump. A long harmonious finish.
