Château Durfort-Vivens

Margaux
2ième Grand Cru Classé

Owner Gonzague Lurton is currently dividing his time between Bordeaux and his new winery in Sonoma Valley. However, as this wine shows, he hasn’t lost any attention to detail: a dark colour with a crimson rim, spicy and plummy on the nose which is quite closed for the moment and then the wine opens up on the palate to become attractive with lovely sweet Cabernet fruit, nice spice, well knit tannins, good oak and a lovely, spicy, fresh tannic finish. Ambitious. Drink 2022-2036
