Château Feytit-Clinet

Pomerol

Red
Jérémy Chasseuil is really hitting his stride at this family property that he took over in 2000. It encompasses 6.5 hectares and is planted with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc on gravel soils. Dark, rich and glossy with immediate precision and concentration in the nose, there are aromas of good spice and fruit, plums and truffles on the nose. On the palate the wine is fresh in spite of the richness, with lovely tannic texture, good spice and length and lovely balance. This is a big, powerful wine with lots of life in it that already tastes delicious.
