Château Haut-Bailly

Pessac-Léognan
Grand Cru Classé de Graves
0,75
Red
A visit to Haut-Bailly these days is a treat for the eyes. A beautiful new cellar, mirroring the vineyard that surrounds it, awaits. Here the wonderful 2020 vintage is aging and in many ways the wine mirrors its new home with elegance, precision and brightness. There is more tension and intensity on the 2020 compared to the rich, exuberant 2019. Here the cassis and crunchy berry fruit and the fine tannins bring freshness and an appetizing quality to the wine. There are notes of violets and natural herbs on the palate and a length that is tensile and powerful with superb tannic reverberation. Max. 24 btls. p.p.
