Château L'Eglise-Clinet

Pomerol
0,75
Red
Made from a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, Denis Durantou told us that he had made « just enough wine for his friends » ; he lost about 20% of his crop not to the frost but to the drought. Always a high performer, the 2017 is pure and precise with notes of black fruit, truffle, woodsmoke and a touch of oak on the nose. On the palate the wine is dark fruited, intense and structured but with lots of charm and the finish is extremely long and savoury.
