Château La Dominique

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Classé
1,5
Red
There is a little less than half of the production of this wine in 2017 as the estate suffered badly from the frosts. There is 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon than usual in the blend because the Merlots suffered most. Pretty, dark bright purple colour, attractive juicy black fruit and good freshness here. Well made and more elegant than in the past with good balance between acidity and tannins and between the oak and the fruit.
