Château La Fleur-Pétrus

Pomerol

The Moueix family of the négociant arm, J.P. Moueix, are putting a great deal of effort and marketing into what is now their flagship domain in Pomerol. The 18.7 hectares on the plateau provide ample choice for this blend of 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc. Over the last few years the wine has become fresher and more precise and the 2016 is ripe and silky with notes of plums, graphite, minerals and smoke. A sophisticated wine with lots of poise and polish, which will age beautifully over the years. Drink 2030-2040
