Château La Mission Haut-Brion

Graves Cru Classé
A pure, expressive, intense wine which verges on perfection. It has a whopping 15.1° of alcohol – one of the highest levels recorded at the estate – but everything is so well integrated, that one does not feel the heat. There is such great opulence and wonderful fruit expression – cassis, blueberry, blackberry - sitting above a layer of graphite, liquorice and woodsmoke that it will take several years before we can begin to taste the full expression of this wine. A monumental La Mission which wowed tasters throughout the world during the En Primeur week.
