Château La Mission Haut-Brion

Pessac-Léognan
Grand Cru Classé de Graves
0,75
Red
La Mission 2021 wows from the start with its exceptional nose of dark fruit, tobacco, undergrowth, truffle and gorgeous cool autumn berries. Made from a blend of 48% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine becomes a little more serious and structured on the palate with mineral freshness, silky texture and round, spicy tannins. It is a little restrained at the moment, which is unusual for La Mission which is always so exuberant but this cool elegance is alluring and as the wine curls around the long, graphite finish, the drive and persistence is admirable. Max. 6 btls.
