Château La Nerthe (BIO)

Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bio

Red
Universally acclaimed by the wine press and trade the 2016 vintage is a blend of 37% Grenache, 29% Syrah, 25% Mourvèdre, 7% Cinsault and 2% others. The wine shows hints of toast and vanilla on the nose with attractive aromas of roses, peonies and strawberries. Then it becomes more serious on the palate with red fruits, plums, interlaced with some Mediterranean herbs and pepper. There is rich texture, pure fruit then plenty of concentrated cherry fruit on the palate. It's full-bodied and quite concentrated in texture, without losing its balance or its finesse. It is a great Châteauneuf which will age beautifully.
