Château La Nerthe (BIO)

Châteauneuf-du-Pape

White
A clear, pure golden color guides to a nose that is very fruity, with flavors of almond blossom, grapefruit, pear, and melon. On the palate, the wine is very fresh and pure, with an attractive smokiness, a touch of spicy oak, and a delightful bitterness with notes of fennel and sorrel. A beautiful wine that reflects the best of Roussanne grapes (which make up 30% of the blend), along with Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Bourboulenc. The finish is very precise and pure, emphasizing the intensity and liveliness of this superb white wine.
