Château Le Crock

Saint-Estèphe
Cru Bourgeois
0,75
Red
Owned by the Cuvelier family of Château Léoville-Poyferré since the beginning of the 20th century, this impressive cru bourgeois offers great value and delicious drinking. Made from a blend of 46% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot grapes this a very forward, quite sweet wine with notes of smoke, cedar and ripe, sweet hedgerow fruit. In the mouth, there is good sweet, ripe fruit, a generous, velvety structure and very fine tannins and oak which frame but do not intrude on the character of this impressive wine.
