Château Léoville Barton

Saint-Julien
2ième Grand Cru Classé
New
0,75
Red
Thanks to the september rains which affected the Merlot grapes, this vintage of Barton has the highest proportion of Cabernet ever at 93%. Classic St. Julien with very dark, violet scented cassis fruit, crushed minerals and cedar and lovely fresh juicy plums on the attack. Things get a bit more serious on the palate with lovely intensity, ripe tannins, good structure and tension and a gorgeous, elegant finish. As good as the 2016!
