Château Léoville Barton

Saint-Julien
2ième Grand Cru Classé
0,75
Red
Perhaps it is because this was the first vintage to be vinified in the new cellar, but this wine is wonderfully refined and fruity with a high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon (84%) in the blend. It begins with a dark, plush colour, a refined nose of fresh plums, blueberries, blackberries and even a hint of caramelized biscuit. On the tasting, the same primary fruit comes across as wonderfully fresh, intertwined with juicy acidity. The suave tannins are ripe and are beginning to integrate well into the wine, which already makes it so accessible and drinkable. This is a beautiful result, bravo to the Barton family! Max. 6 btls.
