This excellent result in 2013 confirms this estate's ranking as the best Grand Vin in the Médoc. Harvested late, to ensure the grapes had reached optimum ripeness, with only 40% of the crop making it into the Grand Vin. Extremely well-made with a deep, intense colour, supple yet structured tannins, beautifully fresh with notes of cassis and black cherry. Elegant.
