Château Léoville Las Cases

Saint-Julien
2ième Grand Cru Classé
1,5
Red
One of my favourite Bordeaux wines which doesn't disappoint this year. Tasting more like a Pauillac than a Saint Julien, the blend is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. This is a bold, yet silky wine with lots of fresh dark fruit. There is a powerful structure and lots of precision and definition that makes this both elegant and serious. A wine for long aging.
