Château Léoville Poyferré

Saint-Julien
2ième Grand Cru Classé
New

Red
It is good to hear that Poyferré had a healthy crop this year and this seems a very happy wine. Dark, glowing crimson colour ; pure sweet fruit of crushed blackberries and wild strawberries ; fresh and enticing on the nose with good ripeness ; lovely ripe tannins ; in all, a very generous, delicious wine with lots of charm for medium term drinking.
