Saint-Julien
2ième Grand Cru Classé

Red
2018 marks the first vintage of Sara Lecompte Cuvelier, the dynamic cousin of Didier Cuvelier who has now taken over the reins at the family owned estate. She begins her tenure with a stunning vintage. Made from a blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot, the wine has a bright, purple colour; a lovely fresh, welcoming nose; very pretty cassis fruit, open and fresh on the palate with lots of energy, in spite of the tannin structure. Rich, generous and deep in the finish. Delivery from winter 2020-2021
