Château Les Charmes Godard

Francs, Côtes de Bordeaux
One of only a few white wines made on the Right Bank, le Charmes Godard made by Nicholas Thienpont is an interesting blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. It has very pretty balance, with a lovely fruity dimension (lycee, pears, quince and pineapple) and vibrant, lingering acidity. It is fermented in barrel which adds richness, texture and complex oaky and honeyed notes.
