Château Montrose

Saint-Estèphe
2ième Grand Cru Classé
0,75
Red
Château Montrose made a stunning wine in 2014, worthy of its new wine cellar which it will inaugurate during Vinexpo. The wine was harvested during several different picking selections and the result can be seen in the precision and the purity of the fruit. There is lots of black fruit character here with deep flavours of anise, smoke and vanilla with structured, rather minty tannins. In spite of the rich fruit, there is beautiful acidity and a long and balanced finish.
