Château Pavie-Macquin

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
1er Grand Cru Classé
A great wine from Nicolas Thienpont and his team, the 2015 is a blend of 84% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. Pavie Macquin always has a super rich, almost New World bouquet with up front aromas of red cherry, blackberry and oak. The richness is balanced on the palate with citrus freshness and great energy. Dark and bold with impressive tannins, this impressive wine is going to take some time to come around.
