Château Phélan Ségur

Saint-Estèphe
0,75
Red
This superb St. Estèphe estate is well located between Montrose and Calon Ségur and this year shows how successful the wines of the appellation really are. Harvesting finished on the 21st of October, the latest ever, and the blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. There is great aromatic expression of black fruit, cloves, herbs and plums. On the palate the wine is racy yet structured with great power and tannins. Great intensity and structure on the finish; very impressive. Drink 2022-2036
