What a star this wine is, its quality far surpassing the humble Médoc appellation. This is a delicious Bordeaux with bright red fruit flavours coming from the Merlot which was picked quite early so not to have too much maturity and alcohol, enhanced by lovely spicy, fresh Cabernets which make the wine so juicy, lively and gourmand. Beautifully made with fine tannic structure this is great success. The grape blend is 50% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
