The 12 years of work and investment in this property by the team at Cheval Blanc is really beginning to show results and for the second year running, they have produced a very attractive, aromatic and pure Quinault at an attractive price. With its red garnet colour, rich, very pure nose with clean, lovely plummy freshness and spice, the wine has good intensity and good balance mid-palate. In the finish there are lush tannins, fresh reverberation and nice length with a pretty, spicy finish. Elegant and lively. (FM)
