Chateau Talbot

Saint-Julien
4ième Grand Cru Classé
0,75
Red
Like many estates in the Médoc, Talbot is planting more Cabernet and this blend is made up of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Harvesting late to reach full ripeness in the autumn sun, the nose is fruity and sweet with notes of roses, plums and crisp cassis fruit. Very fresh and juicy on the attack with bright, ripe tannins that are already well integrated in the wine, this is charming and accessible, offering excellent easy drinking for a wine of this quality which is at ease with itself. Drink before the trilogy of 18-19-20.
