Clos du Marquis

Saint-Julien
0,75
Red
To have a wine of the quality within the Léoville Las Cases estate is fabulous and the Clos has even a higher level of tannins than its big brother this year. The wine was picked early around the 10th of September and is a blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. It has a deep crimson colour; a very attractive Cabernet nose that is fresh and spicy and an inviting juicy, fruity taste where the acidity comes from the excellent tannins. (FM)
