Domaine Chandon de Briailles

This wine comes from one third of the village climat and two thirds from the higher parcels on the slope, so the wine is being made as a village Savigny without the premier cru designation and is less expensive. It has an attractive purple, crimson colour, a sweet nose with primary fruit flavours of redcurrant, raspberry and strawberry. There is ripe fruit on the palate with the delicate balance for which this domain is noted for and a long, pure, fresh finish. A lovely wine for early drinking.
