Domaine des Lambrays

A lovely fresh and creamy Clos this year with round plummy aromas and a hint of chocolate on the nose. Picked quite early, as is usual at the domain, there is pretty black fruit lurking under a rather smoky, spicy nose which opens up on the palate to reveal good purity, classic Pinot flavours, some beautiful finely structured tannins and a very long, elegant finish. This will be long lasting.
