White
Made for the first time in 2018, this unusual and exciting wine is made by fermenting Savagnin grapes for ten days on their skins, as one makes red wines. This adds structure and depth to the wine without losing any of the acidity and persistence of a white wine. The result wowed all of our team when we first tasted it: there is a much darker tint than usual, rich golden colour; a nose which combines orange peel, nutmeg, sherry, mandarins, mango, plums and cinnamon; on the palate the wine has a juicy sweetness and a crunchy fruit character that carries through to a long and lively finish. A complete wine that we cannot wait to match with Asian flavours and grilled seafood.
