Domaine Georges Vernay

This wine has taken some time since bottling to unfurl and become its usual exuberant self since there is so much concentration and richness in this super vintage. The nose is intense with an immediate impression of spiciness which gives way to exotic fruit flavours of lychee and mango. Charming and intense on the palate towards the finish, fresh notes of lime and bergamot leave a lasting taste. This is a stylish, vertical wine with a final tension that is almost tannic.
