This is a beautiful definition of pure Viognier fruit, planted at 300 metres of altitude on top of the Condrieu hill. Because of its height it lies outside of the appellation and as well-made organic wine it offers a fabulous price/quality ratio. After the grapes have been pressed, they are cold fermented and then aged for 10 months in 20 hl wooden vats, using no new oak. With its brilliant pale gold colour, its floral nose of wild summer flowers, nougat, peach stones and apricot flowers, this is expressive and open with a fine vein of acidity which matches the exuberance of the wild fruit flavours.
