Despite a very early harvest at Montrose, the wine is already fairly open and aromatically accessible on the nose due to the large (69%) proportion of Merlot in the blend. Soft, well-rounded and supple with characteristic Saint-Estephe aromas (smoke, black fruits, cedar, oak), this wine will make lovely drinking in its youth.
