La Dame de Montrose
A lot of the estate’s Merlot was used in the 2017 Dame and accounts for the lush, sweet red cherry and blackberry aromas which lead to a round and full bodied wine with generous flavours, supple tannins and good freshness. Very accessible now, this looks like a lovely wine for quite early drinking over the next ten years.
