La Dame de Montrose

Saint-Estèphe
0,375
Red
La Dame includes 44% of the production of Montrose in the blend and is very attractive and fresh right from the start. The nose is sweet and perfumed with notes of violets, peonies, roses and blackcurrant. There is more Cabernet in the blend than usual which really makes itself felt. On the palate the wine is lively, silky with a very classic St. Estèphe style and cool, autumn fruit and wood smoke. Very good precision and plummy flavours in the finish. Well sculpted and balanced.
