A wine for every occasion this summer...

“Hey, want to come over to have a drink on the terrace?!” Hear that? It’s summer telling us to gather outside with friends and family, delicious food and a refreshing drink. Off course, umbrella cocktails are nice but, let’s be honest, nothing beats a great bottle of wine. Whether it's a night on the patio, a day at the beach, or a neighborhood barbecue, we have a wine for every occasion, from those just-warm-enough days to that last golden summer weekend. You’re going to love these wines as much as you love making each of your summer moments.

For poolside sipping

Want to make a splash? Transport yourself to South West France  for a sun-kissed summer day with this fun and loving rosé wine. Perfect for those days where you just can't resist doing a cannonball off the diving board. Geronimo!

A rosé made from 60% Gamay, 20% Cabernet and 20% Pinot Noir grapes, grown in Vienne between the Loire Valley and Poitiers. This is an organic wine, produced with great care including two days cold maceration followed by five months ageing on the fermentation lees to add roundness and complexity to the wine. Serve chilled and enjoy now or for the next two years.
For a Sunday brunch

There's something about summer that lends itself to long, relaxed Sunday brunches. And a brunch without Champagne is just a sad breakfast. Invigorate your lazy Sunday brunch with this bubbly Champagne, perfect to drink by itself or to glam up your Mimosas and Bellinis. Get bubbly!

  1. Deze fles is 0.75l
    Beaumont des Crayères
    Brut Champagne
    0.75l White
    €25.65 €21.20
Created in 1955, this group of Epernay producers make wines from 75 hectares of vineyards. Cuvée de Réserve is a blend of three vintages and predominately made from black varieties. Refined and elegant with a lovely taste of toasty brioche, almonds and ripe fruits. A little known Champagne at a very reasonable price, which often ranks above some of its more famous counterparts in blind tastings.
For a neighbourhood BBQ

Where there’s smoke, there should be our Bordeaux Supérieur! Its big, bold flavors of red fruits and spices are a natural match for backyard grilling. A go-to red to show off that steak on the grill.

  1. Deze fles is 0.75l
    Bordeaux Supérieur
    Thienpont Selection Bordeaux Supérieur
    0.75l Red
    €9.00 €7.44
We are delighted to announce the addition to the portfolio of Thienpont own label wines of a delicious Thienpont Bordeaux Supérieur 2016. Following the demise of the very popular “Z de Bordeaux”, we have been searching far and wide for a worthy, everyday drinking Bordeaux that we can call our own. We have found it at the historic Chateau le Grand Verdus overlooking the Garonne river in Entre-deux-Mers. Made from a blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, this is a very bright, immediately accessible Bordeaux wine with a pure nose of red fruits, spices and a touch of liquorice. On the palate the wine is very smooth and round with good freshness and intensity. This wine will drink well for the next three to five years and is great when served with bistro cuisine such as chicken, grilled beef or stews in relaxed surroundings.
For a summer party

Throwing a summer party? Keep it simple at the bar and go for a magnum bottle to add the rockstar factor and bring the party up a notch. Because size does matter. If you’re serving just one wine on a hot day (or a hot night), this should be the one for all your summertime celebrations. It's attractive red fruit character makes it the perfect party sipper.

  1. Deze fles is 1.5l
    Château Fonbel
    Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
    1.5l Red
    €35.21 €29.10
This little Saint Emilion cru made by the Vauthier family with 80% Merlot grapes is very pretty and expressive this year. It is an easy drinking wine with attractive red fruit character. Notes of red cherry and plums on the palate, good crunchy acidity, quite firm tannins. This is a very easy wine to like.
For a hot night on the patio

This light and refreshing summer white port cocktail is all you'll need this season to cool down and relax. Served with fresh grapefruit and plenty of ice, it's this summer's hottest sip.
