Château Sociando-Mallet

Haut-Médoc
Cru Bourgeois
0,75
Red
A very successful wine from this lovely estate perched above the estuary just north of St. Estèphe and one that always offers great value for money. Produced from a blend of 66% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc, it has a deep colour, a nose that is plummy, with ripe cherries, cloves, leather; it is fresh and lush on the palate with attractive berry freshness from the Merlot and finishes deep and velvety. This is a lovely wine that is generous and sweet with excellent tannic structure.
