Château L'Eglise-Clinet

Pomerol
0,75
Red
Always regarded as one of the top Pomerol estates, the 2016 is made from a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc from the small 4.2 ha vineyard. The wine is very perfumed with lovely notes of violet, wild flowers, blackberries and minerals. On the palate there is lots of precision and very well defined, fresh tannins. Very fine and intense on the finish; winemaker Denis Durantou is justifiably proud of this wine. Drink 2026-2040
