Château Sociando-Mallet

Haut-Médoc
Cru bourgeois
1,5
Red
A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, this wine was a little closed during the primeur tastings. With some aeration there was deep, attractive berry fruit with a good complexity and nice profound spice and oak. Fine, firm and long on the finish, this is a perennial favourite which ages well.
