Domaine de Chevalier

Pessac-Léognan
Grand Cru Classé de Graves
0,75
White
One of the very top names in white Bordeaux, this 2014 was universally praised and we hurried to buy several cases. A blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon gives this wine lots of precision and structure with notes of citrus fruits, beeswax and orange blossom. Olivier Bernard thinks that this is the best white wine he has ever made and the style is almost more Burgundian than Bordeaux with its onctuosity and its lovely lees aging.
