Domaine Jean Grivot

Clos de Vougeot
Grand Cru
0,75
Red
The 2017 Clos de Vougeot grand cru is very elegant and composed, quite feminine and grown up compared to the gangly youth that Etienne often describes. The nose has a compact nose of autumn fruits – blackberry, blackcurrant, myrtilles and sloes with more ethereal, perfumed notes of violets and roses. The tannin on the palate comes as a bit of a surprise but the fruit is still there along with quite a spicy, lively finish.
