    Château Filhot
    Sauternes
    Deuxièmes Crus 0.75l White
    €30.00 €24.79
A magnificent estate located in the heart of the Sauternes region which produces wines that are rich, succulent and very traditional in style. Made from a blend of Sémillon 60%, Sauvignon 36%, Muscadelle 4%, the 2014 vintage is marked by its freshness, the juicy finesse of the botrytis richness, its mineral character and its elegant balance. This is a pretty Sauternes at a very good price.

Jean-Pierre Cournut’s red wines from the challenging 2016 vintage are sensational. Having battled both frost and mildew, the growing season settled down to produce grapes of great quality. In his own words “the red wines amaze me with their purity, freshness and elegance; they have a transparent character which makes them already delicious to drink”. This very stylish wine is pretty and soft in the nose with aromas of peppery spice, red berries and wildflowers. It has a lovely, fresh minerality and a very precise, ripe finish. A super wine at a reasonable price

    Cuvée Pierre Mignard Corbières
    0.75l Red

This well-known estate in Corbières produces intense wines which are very spicy and lively with sweet, red berry fruit on the attack with notes of compote, balsam, oak and spice. Rich and velvety, the power builds up on the palate towards a ripe and fruity finish. One of the favourites in our collection of good value wines.

    Domaine de Chevalier
    Pessac-Léognan
Grand Cru Classé de Graves 0.75l White
    €105.00 €86.78
This much sought after wine is a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. There is great purity in the nose with aromas of orchard fruit, blossom and kiwi. On the palate the wine is remarkably balanced and silky, more expressive with notes of citrus, nutmeg and white peach. Quite discrete but this is all I want in a great white Bordeaux.
