Chapelle d'Ausone

Saint-Émilion
Primeur
0,75
Red
Coming from the younger vines on the estate, this is a blend of 60% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is aged for 20 months in new oak barrels in the famous underground quarries. Bright ruby red colour; good spice, sweet, charming, berried fruit in the nose; spice and fresh red berries appear on the palate with creamy almost vanilla flavours with some sucrosity. This is charming and velvety, perfectly healthy, and ripe. It is a lovely generous wine with the balance of the fresh tannins that pulls the wine towards a linear and precise end.
