Château La Dominique

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Classé
0,375
Red
This wine marks the 50th vintage made under the Fayat family ownership and the arrival of Yann Monties from Haut Bailly as Technical Director. Another Saint Emilion which is just getting better and better and this sunny vintage seems to suit its style: dark, glossy colour; intense, lots of violet, lilac, rose notes in the nose; plums and juicy black fruit character with lots of spice, and freshness on the palate, then smoky, cedar notes on the finish. La Dominique today is a sum of lots of little details and precision. A very attractive wine, certainly one of the best recent vintages , which will offer excellent mid-term drinking. (FM)
