Regular clients know that this wine is one of my all-time favourites and so it is only natural that I name it as one of my wines of the vintage (luckily most critics and buyers agree!). What a nose! Great purity and intensity but nothing is overdone here, really beautiful fruit, so pure and no feeling of oak; the tannins are gorgeous, very fresh and there is lovely creamy, cassis fruit on the palate with great length and verve; very energetic and successful, the finish goes on forever. I love this wine!! The blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 9% Merlot.
