This Premier Cru is best known for the company it keeps: just below Mazis-Chambertin and next to Chapelle-Chambertin and it is named after an old cemetery. The vines are very old, over one hundred years and give a very creamy, generous, suave texture to this wine. Lovely depth and generosity in this wine with expressive red fruit flavours and so easy to drink; behind the fruit lurks lovely spice and some mineral flavours that add interest on the finish.
